SWIMMING COMPETITION IN KHELGAON, RANCHI
Our 24 trained school children were taken to Ranchi to participate in the Swimming Competition Organized by Jharkhand Swimming Association. Out of 24 children one of our child Shyam Sunder Mandal won Gold Medal for 100m Backstroke and Bronze Medal for 50m Freestyle. All the children were thankful to the Millennium School as they learnt many new techniques about swimming.
PAINTING/DRAWING COMPETITION
Painting competition was held for all the classes. They were provided with the painting colors and all the required materials. It was a good time for them and all the children who stood 1st, 2nd,3rd and 4th got the prizes. They were very happy to attend it.
NUTRITION COMPETITION
Nutrition competition was held for all the classes. Written exams were taken according to the clases. The questions were being set from the information given on Nutrition Program and general science. All the children who stood 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th got the prizes. Children were excited to attend it.
MEDICAL CAMP
Medical Camp was organized for all the children. Children and their parents also had their health checkup and blood group test. They were happy and excited about the camp and were also thankful to the Millennium School.
SINGING COMPETITION
Singing competition was held for the children of all classes. In which all the children of their respective classes sung a group song. The best three classes were given prizes. All the children were happy to attend it.
Other Events
EARLY CHILD MARRIAGE AND ALCOHOLISM AWARENESS PROGRAM
Awareness program on Early Child Marriage and Alcoholism was organized in which parents along with the children came. The children showed skits to make the parents aware that Early Child Marriage is an offense and Alcohol is bad for our health.
RANCHI FIELD TRIP
Children were taken to Ranchi in field trip for 2 days. They went to many places, Jonha Fall, Zoo, Khelgaon and Ring Road. They enjoyed and saw many new places. They were thankful to the school Program Facilitator for giving them the opportunity to explore new things.
GENERAL KNOWLEDGE COMPETITION
General Knowledge Competition was held for all the classes. The questions were set according to their class level to check their Intelligence Quotient (IQ). The prizes were given to all the children who stood 1st, 2nd and 3rd from their respective classes.
MATH COMPETITION
Math competition was held. It was according to the classes and the questions were set on their respective class level. The prizes were given to the children who stood 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
LOCAL TOUR PICNIC
28 children from different classes were taken for the Local Tour Picnic to Masanjore Dam and Kurwa Pahad (Park) along with their teachers. They enjoyed very much and were thankful to the school.
